Physical DescriptionA cast iron statuette of an Irish Setter. The dog is shown holding a pointing position with its left paw raised and its tail straight out. The sculpture has an integrated cast iron oval-shaped base.
Historical NoteThis dog sculpture is apparently one of the many knickknacks collected by Franklin D. Roosevelt and displayed by him in the White House Oval Office at some point.Additional Details
