Physical DescriptionA round pinback button from Wendell Willkie's campaign. Blue text on a white background reads: VOTE / I WILLKIE ["I WILL" is underlined] / CHICAGO'S / MOTTO. Around the perimeter of the button is a patriotic border with white stars on a blue background on the top section, and red and white stripes on the bottom section.
Historical NoteWendell Willkie was the Republican Party’s presidential candidate in 1940.
