Physical DescriptionA small black and white poster commemorating the 1941 inauguration of Franklin D. Roosevelt and Henry A. Wallace as President and Vice President of the United States. On a white background bordered with black stars is black text that states: “INAUGURATION DAY . . . AND CAMPAIGN PARTISANSHIP HAS TURNED TO NATIONAL UNITY AND CONFIDENCE . . . WE BEGIN ANOTHER FOUR YEARS OF HISTORY.” This is followed by small portrait images of FDR and Wallace flanking an illustration of the American flag. Below the images is a paragraph about the unity of the nation on inauguration day followed by a list of individuals and organizations in Atlantic City, New Jersey sponsoring the poster, and ending with “GOD BLESS / AMERICA.”
