Physical DescriptionA color poster illustrating U.S. Marines officers' insignia of rank, as well as chevrons and indicators of pay. At the top of the poster, on a gray background, is a red, white, and blue banner with gray lettering that reads, "WHAT IS MY RANK? topped by the Marine Corps emblem. At the bottom of the poster are the words: U.S. MARINES. At the center of the poster, on four blue horizontal rows, are illustrations of 14 "COMMISSIONED OFFICER'S INSIGNIA OF RANK," and 9 "NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS' CHEVRONS AND PAY." Each one is identified below the image. The artist's facsimile signature is in the lower right corner of the artwork: F. S. Thomas.
