Physical DescriptionA white, all-text poster with bold red wording at the top and bottom proclaiming, "TO ALL / WHO USE LIBRARIES / THIS IS OUR WAR." At the center, in blue lettering, is a message, from Elmer Davis, Director of the Office of War Information, that describes the Japanese, Nazi, and Fascist attitude towards libraries, librarians, authors, and readers, and how those sentiments threaten American civilization and culture as a whole.

The poster was printed by the U.S. Government Printing Office, poster no. 16-310202-1.
