Physical DescriptionA poster promoting wartime discretion. The poster features a black and white photographic headshot portrait of a woman. The photographer’s facsimile signature is in the lower left corner of the image: Victor Keppler. Black and red lettering above and below the image reads: WANTED! / FOR MURDER / Her careless talk costs lives.

Small black text printed along the bottom edge of the poster reads: U.S. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE : 1944—O-595600 / Distributed for the issuing agencies by the Office of War Information.

On the reverse of the poster is printed information on the style of the poster and the photographer, and mailing information with a typed address to: FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT LIBRARY, / MR. FRED W. SHIPMAN, DIR., / HYDE PARK, N. Y. / OWI-117. A printed return address for the Office of War Information is also included.
