Physical DescriptionA Spanish language poster, titled “LUCHAMOS POR LA LIBERTAD DE TODOS" [we fight for the freedom of all], promoting inter-American solidarity during World War II. The poster features a large graphic illustration of a blue silhouetted head wearing a black and blue helmet symbolizing the American flag using stars and red and white stripes. The artist’s facsimile signature is incorporated into the artwork: “E. McKnight Kauffer.”

Printed in small text along the bottom of the poster: "Publicado por El Coordinador de Asuntos Interamericanos, Washington, E. U. A."
Historical NotePresident Roosevelt created the Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs during World War II to counter Italian and German propaganda in Latin America and promote political, economic, and cultural ties with the United States. He appointed Nelson Rockefeller as the Coordinator.
