Physical DescriptionA World War II U.S. production poster titled “My V for VICTORY!” The color poster features a graphic illustration of a Black man harvesting gum from a tree against the backdrop of a forest. Next to the tree is a barrel labeled “GUM FOR WAR.” The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower left of the artwork: “HARRY ROSSOLL.” Printed below the illustration is the wording “TIMBER PRODUCTION WAR PROJECT” and the logo for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
