Physical DescriptionA red, white, and blue crocheted 48-star American flag. The flag has a white canvas header with metal grommets at the top and bottom.
Historical NoteThis handmade flag was sent to Franklin Roosevelt in December 1941 by the maker, Mrs. J. J. Neill of Pleasanton, Texas.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 28, 1942. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
