Physical DescriptionA color poster encouraging enlistment in the U.S. Coast Guard. The poster features an illustration of U.S. Coast Guard Cutter CGC-451 on open water at the center. The boat is shooting at Japanese military airplanes flying around in the sky above it, some of which are on fire and crashing into the ocean. The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower left of the illustration: “CHARLES ROSNER.” The term “REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR!” is in white in the lower right of the illustration. Blue and red text on and below the image reads: “TIME FOR ACTION / JOIN THE U.S. COAST GUARD TODAY.
