Physical DescriptionA color World War II propaganda poster titled, “ALLIES IN THE SHIPYARDS.” The upper half of the poster features a large black and white photographic image of a dry dock with a ship under construction, while the lower half has six smaller photographic images of individual workers from Norway, Fighting France, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Belgium, and Norway. The title runs across the center of the poster with additional text at the bottom stating, “THE WORKERS PORTRAYED ABOVE, ARE ALL WORKERS IN THE SAME BRITISH SHIPYARD!” Running down the left side of the poster are illustrated flags for ten allied nations.
