Physical DescriptionA color poster featuring an illustration of an ivy-covered brick wall. Mounted on the wall is a brass plaque with a portrait image of George Washington Carver and the quote: "WITHOUT VISION / THERE IS NO HOPE. / PROTECT YOUR / COUNTRY….AND / YOUR FUTURE." / GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER. White and black text at the top and bottom of the poster reads: BUILD FOR THE FUTURE / BUY VICTORY BONDS. The artwork is by William Kautz. Additional small text in the bottom margin reads: U.S. Government Printing Office: 1945-O-666820 Official U.S. Treasury Poster WFD 61.
