Physical DescriptionA small head and shoulders bust of Thomas Edison made of a light-colored stone composite with his name inscribed on the lower front: EDISON. He is shown wearing a suit jacket, shirt, and bow tie. The artist's signature is inscribed on the side below the proper right shoulder: WALTER RUSSELL / 19 © 28. The underside of the bust is lined with green felt.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on August 3, 1942. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
