The yellow, black, and white poster features a comic-style illustration of a trotting pony whose body is in the form of a shoe, the lace of which the pony holds in its mouth. Text on the poster states: “Go by SHANKS’ PONY / WALK SHORT DISTANCES and leave room for those who have longer journeys." The designers’ names are printed below the pony: " LEWITT-HIM.”
