Physical DescriptionA World War II U.S. Army conservation poster titled “SNAFSHOTS . . . of guys we can do without.” The brown, white, and black illustrated poster features six “snapshots” attached to a cork board with thumbtacks. Each of the “snapshots” has a comic drawing of a U.S. Army soldier engaged in a careless and unintentionally destructive act accompanied by a caption: “CAN PLUGGER / MATCH SCRATCHER / WALL BUSTER / TABLE BURNER / PLUMBING WRECKER / WINDOW SMASHER.” Following the last image is text that states: “DON'T BE A 'G.I. WRECKER’.” In the lower left corner of the illustration is the U.S. Army Conservation Program “SAVE” logo.
