Physical DescriptionA white crocheted antimacassar intended to cover the back of an upholstered piece of furniture. The design depicts a portrait of George Washington against a background of two crossed American flags - a thirteen star flag and a forty-eight star flag.
Historical NoteThis needlework antimacassar is one of two (MO 1942.200.25.1-2) sent to Franklin Roosevelt by Francis Schlastri of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 28, 1942. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
