Physical DescriptionA round pinback campaign button. On the dark red button is a dark blue illustrated portrait of Franklin Roosevelt against a white, fan-shaped background. Below the image is a broad, white horizontal band with blue text that reads: ROOSEVELT. The manufacturer's information is printed on the rim of the button: G. H. STAMP WORKS ABERDEEN WASH.
Historical NoteThough similar in design to buttons used in Franklin Roosevelt's 1940 presidential campaign, this particular button was made for the 1936 campaign and is one of only 500 made.Additional Details
