Physical DescriptionA glazed ceramic Chinese vase with a blue and white pattern and the image of a dragon. There is no maker's mark on vase. The vase sits on 1" high round, black wood base/holder.
Historical NoteThis is one of two nearly identical glazed ceramic Chinese vases (MO 1943.148.16-17) that once belonged to FDR's aunt, Dora Delano Forbes. It is on display in FDR'S PRIVATE STUDY in the Permanent Exhibit.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
