Physical DescriptionA crocheted cross-shaped bookmark. The cross is made of purple yarn and outlined in yellow yarn that leads to two strands hanging from the bottom of the cross and ending in a yellow tassel.
Historical NoteJessica H. Charlton of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania crocheted this bookmark and sent it to Franklin D. Roosevelt in February 1943.
