Physical DescriptionA painted die cast figurine of an elephant from Alfred Landon's campaign. The elephant sports a red blanket over its back which reads (on both sides): LAND-ON / ROOSEVELT / 1936.
Historical NoteAlfred Landon was the 1936 Republican candidate for President. This figurine is on display in the 1936 ELECTION CAMPAIGN exhibit in the Museum’s NEW DEAL gallery.
