Blue text below the flag reads: GOD BLESS AMERICA.Historical Note"God Bless America," the patriotic song written by Irving Berlin, was the official 1940 campaign song for both Franklin Roosevelt and his Republican opponent, Wendell Willkie. This button may have been used to promote either candidate.
