Historical NoteThis button is one of several identical buttons sent to Franklin D. Roosevelt by artist Jacob H. Perskie in August 1933. Designed by Perskie, the button was to be given to employees working under the National Recovery Administration (NRA) in Atlantic City, New Jersey.The manufacturer's information is printed on a paper insert on the reverse of the button.
