Physical DescriptionA one inch scale model of a 74' x 16', 43 knot, twin Packard powered Patrol Torpedo (PT) boat. The wooden model has a navy and gray painted hull. Painted on either side of the bow: PT-74.

Accompanying the model is a separate box containing metal parts including the propellers and cannon and a hand-painted flag of the President of the United States.
Historical NoteThis model was presented to President Roosevelt by George G. Eddy, President of the Eddy Shipbuilding Corporation of Bay City, Michigan, on February 9, 1943.
Additional Details
Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on March 10, 1943. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
