Physical DescriptionA white crocheted antimacassar intended to cover the back of an upholstered chair. The design depicts a portrait of George Washington against a background of two crossed American flags - a thirteen star flag and a forty-eight star flag.

The cover is part of an antimacassar set (MO 1941.10.58.1-3).
Historical NoteThe needlework antimacassar set that this cover is a part of was sent to Franklin Roosevelt in 1941 by Catherine M. Janoski of Linden, New Jersey.
