Physical DescriptionA metal clip, covered in brown leather, meant to identify and hold unanswered letters. Debossed in gilt lettering on the top of the clip: UNANSWERED.
Historical NoteThis correspondence clip - along with one for answered letters (MO 2008.13.32) - was used by Eleanor Roosevelt in her 74th Street apartment in New York City.
