Physical DescriptionA pewter matchbox holder with a medallion on the top that features a bas relief left-facing profile image of FDR's head encircled by text that reads: • PRESIDENT • FRANKLIN • D • ROOSEVELT • / HYDE • PARK • N•Y•. An indecipherable artist's mark is below the profile on the medallion. The holder is open on three sides to accommodate a box of matches. Made by Val-Kill Industries, the holder is unmarked with the manufacturer's information.
