Physical DescriptionA cast vase made of Korean brass with Hexagon-shaped riveted handles at the sides. The exterior surface is engraved with floral, swirls, and yin/yang designs. Inscribed around the top rim: President and Mrs. Roosevelt From Louise Yim Hahn, Seoul, Korea. The vase rests on a separate piece of circular leather.
Historical NoteThis vase was given to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt by Louise Yim Hahn of Seoul, Korea. It is on display in FDR'S PRIVATE STUDY in the Permanent Exhibit.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
