Physical DescriptionA metal mesh screen to be used in front of a fireplace. The screen has a trifold design with each end piece folding in towards the center section. The two side pieces also have handles at the top.
Historical NoteThis mesh fireplace screen was used in front of the fireplace in FDR’s Private Study. It is on display in FDR'S PRIVATE STUDY in the Permanent Exhibit.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
