Physical DescriptionA wooden model of the MAYFLOWER, a two-masted sailing ship with sails unfurled. The ship has a partially-painted hull with pink trim. British flags are tied to the top of two masts. The model is fixed to a wooden base.
Historical NoteBuilt by Daniel L. Butler of Marstons Mills, Massachusetts, this model was presented to President Roosevelt as a Christmas gift in 1939 by Lincoln Filene, President of Filene's Department Store in Boston.Additional Details
