Physical DescriptionA pair of Masonic bookends. The blue-painted metal bookends are triangular shaped with stepped bases. On the face of each bookend is the square and compasses Masonic emblem finished in silver and gold paint. The underside of each bookend base is lined with black felt.
Historical NoteThese Masonic bookends were presented to Franklin D. Roosevelt in January 1942 by Fred Pfeffer of Cincinnati, Ohio.Additional Details
Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on January 21, 1942. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
