Physical DescriptionA magnifying glass paperweight. The bubble-shaped magnifier is set within a square, clear glass surround covered with vegetable-tanned brown leather embossed with "FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT" tooled in gold at the bottom and gold pin striping on the sides.
Historical NoteMade by the Alfred Robbins Organization, Inc., this magnifying glass paperweight is on display in FDR'S PRIVATE STUDY in the Permanent Exhibit.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
