Physical DescriptionFour short snorter bills taped together. The bills consist of two U.S. $1.00 silver certificates, one Venezuelan $20.00 bill, and one 5 shilling note from Fiji. Each of the bills are covered with handwritten ink signatures.Historical NoteThis short snorter was among the items found inside Eleanor Roosevelt’s wallet after her death. A facsimile is displayed alongside other items found in the wallet in the Museum’s FIRST LADY OF THE WORLD gallery.
