Physical DescriptionA single width (twin) bed frame consisting of a headboard (a), footboard (b), and two side rails (c).

The headboard consists of two horizontal boards, the upper board finished off in three broad scallops and separated from the lower board by five small turnings. The footboard has a turned horizontal rail, center support, and legs. Each of the four low bedposts on the headboard and footboard are topped by a rosette.

The manufacturer's mark is stamped on one side of the footboard above the rail slot: VAL-KILL. The two side rails are marked: 136I. Written in crayon on the bottom of each rail, as well as on the underside of the headboard and footboard: 113-136. Marked on various parts of the bed components are single digit numbers that seem to indicate how the bed is meant to be assembled.
