Physical DescriptionA round pinback coat-tail button from the campaigns of Franklin Roosevelt and Herbert Lehman. At the center of the white button is a logo in blue featuring the illustration of shaking hands within a round gear. The logo is encircled by blue text that reads: AMERICAN LABOR PARTY / ROOSEVELT-LEHMAN. The manufacturer's information is printed on the reverse of the button.
Historical NoteThis 1936 campaign button features presidential candidate Franklin Roosevelt and Herbert H. Lehman, the Democratic Party’s successful candidate for reelection for governor of New York.
