Physical DescriptionA woven silk campaign ribbon. On an off-white background is a black and white portrait of Grover Cleveland. Below the portrait is a red, white, and light blue design of an eagle over crossed flags. At the bottom of the ribbon is a black and white image of the White House. Red, light blue, and black text on the ribbon reads: GROVER CLEVELAND / DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE / FOR / PRESIDENT / 1892 / WHITE HOUSE. A red tassel is attached to the bottom of the ribbon. The manufacturer's information is on the reverse.
Historical NoteGrover Cleveland was the Democratic Party's successful presidential candidate in 1892.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on March 12, 1943. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
