Physical DescriptionA small silver pin in the form of a "V". Set onto the middle of the "V" is an extremely worn British Queen Victoria silver crown coin. On the reverse of the pin is an inscription that reads: 1st Reserve Brigade. 1943. A.L.
Historical NoteEleanor Roosevelt received letters and small gifts from many servicemen and women during World War II. This silver “Victory” pin was given to the First Lady by "Sergeant A. Lazarus, 1st Reserve Brigade" on August 25, 1943.
