Physical DescriptionA small black and white poster featuring a drawn cartoon of a uniformed American Marine (labeled "U.S MARINES") being catapulted into the air from an island far below. Written into the stream of air lifting the Marine are the words: FAITH / VALOR / FORTITUDE. The artist's facsimile signature is in the lower left corner of the cartoon: Elderman. The cartoon is captioned below the illustration: THE WAKE OF HISTORY.
