Government Printing Office : 1942-O-496733.Historical NoteThe artist, Frederick (Fritz) Siebel, served in the U.S. Army during the war. In 1942, Siebel entered this poster in a competition to create an image illustrating the need to protect sensitive information. It was later printed and distributed by the OWI.
