Physical DescriptionA U.S. Army recruitment poster. The color poster features a large painted illustration of a young woman clasping the arm of a U.S. Army Air Forces pilot dressed in flight gear. The letters “AAF” and the Army Air Forces insignia are to the right of them. In the sky above the couple appears the image of Lady Liberty and the wording, “FLY! FOR HER LIBERTY AND YOURS.” The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower right corner of the image: “Howard Chandler Christy / 1943 / Donated.” Printed text below the image states: "The Greatest Team in the World! U.S. ARMY AIR FORCES."

Stapled to the bottom of the poster is a section cut from an earlier 1940 poster that reads “AAF EXAMINING BOARD / 480 Lexington Ave. New York, N.Y. / RPB—6-20-40—200.”
