Black and white text at the top and bottom of the poster reads: "Navy Ships behind the Scenes" / The UNITED STATES NAVY OFFERS A CAREER FOR YOU. At the center of the poster, on a light green background, is a large black and white photographic image of an anchored U.S. Navy destroyer with two smaller Navy ships - part of her flotilla - anchored to the right.
