Physical DescriptionA World War II U.S. Army conservation poster titled “DON'T TAKE MORE THAN YOU CAN EAT.” The red, blue, black, and white poster features a photographic image of an Army serviceman dumping a plateful of partially uneaten food into a trashcan filled to the top with discarded food. Pointing to the trashcan is a large arrow with a message that reads: “FOOD IS AMMUNITION / CONSERVE IT!" The designers’ names are in the lower right corner of the poster: "S/SGTS. H.M. PASCAL + PAUL LEFEBURE / QMRTC, CAMP LEE, VA.

Additional small text along the bottom of the poster reads: “FCP-1.”
