Physical DescriptionA round pinback coat-tail button from the campaigns of Wendell Willkie, John Bricker, and Harold Burton. The button consists of three horizontal bands in red, white, and blue. White and blue text reads: BRICKER / WILLKIE / BURTON. The manufacturer's information and union bugs are printed on the reverse of the button.
Historical NoteThis 1940 campaign button features Wendell Willkie, the Republican Party's unsuccessful presidential candidate, John Bricker, the Republican Party's successful candidate for governor of Ohio, and Harold Burton, the Republican Party's successful candidate for the U.S. Senate from Ohio.
