Physical DescriptionA metal clip, covered in green leather, meant to identify and hold answered letters. Debossed in gilt lettering on the top of the clip: ANSWERED.
Historical NoteThis correspondence clip - along with one for unanswered letters (MO 2008.13.31) - was used by Eleanor Roosevelt in her 74th Street apartment in New York City.
