Physical DescriptionA lithographed still bank. The top and bottom covers of the cylindrical bank are painted red, with a coin slot in the top cover and a key trap in the bottom cover. The body of the bank is decorated with alternating horizontal bands of various widths in blue (with white stars), white, and red. At the center of one side is a black and white illustration of an eagle with outspread wings with white and red text above and below that reads: NEW DEAL / BANK. On the opposite side, the image of the eagle is repeated, along with a small red, white, and blue shield with the manufacturer's information: J. CHEIN / & CO. / MADE IN / U•S•A•.
