Physical DescriptionA small campaign banner. At the center of the white rectangular banner with a curved bottom edge is a blue photographic image of Wendell Willkie. Blue and red text above and below the image reads: GOD BLESS / AMERICA / WENDELL L. / WILLKIE / THE HOPE OF / OUR COUNTRY. Patriotic stars and stripes flank the image and the entire banner is edged in red.
Historical NoteWendell Willkie was the Republican Party’s presidential candidate in 1940.
