Physical DescriptionAn original black and white pen and ink caricature of Eleanor Roosevelt. The head, neck, and upper chest portrait shows Mrs. Roosevelt sporting a big grin and wearing a choker necklace around her elongated neck. The artist's signature is in the lower right of the drawing: HIRSCHFELD.

The caricature is matted, glazed, and framed in 1 ½” oak wood frame with a dark brown finish.
Historical NoteThis undated caricature of Eleanor Roosevelt by Al Hirschfeld appeared in the June 1949 edition of American Mercury magazine.
