Physical DescriptionA light tan, painted plaster, front-facing head and neck sculpture of Abraham Lincoln attached to a low, darkly-stained wood base. At his neck is a shirt collar and bow tie. Inscribed into the back of the bust is the artist's information: COPYRIGHT BY / HENRY HERING / SCULPTOR. Additional text inscribed below reads: TO THE PRESIDENT OF / THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT / FELICITATION / Henry Hering [signature of artist].
