Historical NoteFranklin Roosevelt loomed large in American popular culture. Elected to four terms as America’s president, he became a familiar presence on the radio and in newspapers, magazines, and newsreels. Inevitably, his well-known likeness appeared on products like this figurine. It is on display in the ROOSEVELT IN POP CULTURE exhibit in the Museum’s NEW DEAL gallery.
