Physical DescriptionA model of a native Peruvian balsa sailing boat. Like the originals, the model is made of reeds, even the sail.
Historical NoteThis model was brought back from Lima, Peru, in 1938 by the wife of Secretary of State Cordell Hull and presented to President Roosevelt.
