Physical DescriptionA small wooden ship model of the Boston tugboat, SATURN. The tugboat has a black-painted hull, no flags, and is fixed to a wooden base. An adhesive sticker on the top of the base has the typed name of the ship: Saturn. Written on the underside of the base: SATURN BOSTON / F. B. ASH DETROIT. Etched on the underside: F. ASH / 1937.
Historical NoteThis model was presented to President Roosevelt by the maker, F. B. Ash of Detroit, Michigan, in 1937.
